ACCOUNTING - Cost & Management Accounting (ICB)

This is the SECOND module for the Further Education & Training Certificate, Bookkeeping, SAQA ID 58376. You will be introduced to the accounting for a manufacturing concern. Learn break even analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, budgeting, costing, financial management and business ethics. Potential students should have completed the Junior Bookkeeper programme first before enrolling for this programme. This programme will provide the skills required to be a Cost Accounting Clerk, Managerial Clerk or Financial Manager.

 

You will learn how to:

  • Compile and control a budget
  • Supply costing information for management
  • Record, analyse and prepare cost information
  • Contribute to the planning and allocation of resources within the accounting framework
  • Operate a cash management and credit control system

 

Student should have completed ICB Financial Statements before starting this course. There is an exam through ICB required for this course
