To provide leadership in education and development in South Africa and beyond. Prepare children for the world today and give them the academic and spiritual tools necessary to achieve their God-given potential by using the Accelerated Christian Education method as provided by the School of Tomorrow
To maintain strong growth as a provider of high quality educational services. We will consistently be professional, trustworthy, accurate, timely and strive for excellence. We will train children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord while providing education in a degree of excellence in a thoroughly Christian environment, trained by competent Spirit-filled teachers who have a Biblical perspective on all subjects
Train up a child in the way that he should go. Even when he is old he will not depart from it
How does an A.C.E. based education compare with a mainstream education?
The school offers the Grade 12 College Entrance Certificate (17209 NQF Level 4) registered by SAQA.
Higher Education South Africa confirmed that SA universities be allowed to admit ACE students with the Grade 12 College Entrance Certificate at their institutions through their own Senate's Discretionary Route. To date the following universities have already confirmed that their doors are open for ACE students from 2013 and beyond:
University of Stellenbosch University of the Free State University of South Africa (UNISA) University of North West University of Johannesburg University of Cape Town
There is however no guarantee that a particular university or faculty will accept an ACE applicant or any other Grade 12 applicant (regardless of the certificate presented) due to limited space and national quotas that are prescribed by Government.
Most South African universities require students to write the National Benchmark Test (NBT) or other admission tests as part of their selection process. Students are advised that at least 3 months of preparation are required to write these tests successfully.
CTA has been founded as a result of an identified need for an additional, quality based English medium school in the area. We are still in the process of registering the School and we aim to open in 2017.
At CTA, we will follow the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) Curriculum at our School, also known as School of Tomorrow or the PACE system.
We aim to cater for Grades 0 to 12 and are integrated into the South African curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Education.
The educational concept is based on the following principles:
- Students must be at subject levels
where they can perform.
- Students must set reasonable goals.
- Students must be controlled and
- Learning must be measurable.
- Learning must be rewarded.
We will be committed to both the parent and to the student. We believe that successful education of a child begins with the parent!
Procedures are set in place to provide the parent with several avenues of communication with the school staff for the purpose of monitoring.
Challenging and highly effective, the A.C.E. program is an extraordinary educational approach, Biblical in its core, that prepares all students for tomorrow's world while giving them traditional moral values that will last a lifetime.
The curriculum conveys Biblical values and concepts considered foundational to meaningful interpersonal relationships and productive learning in such a way as to become life-shaping influences.
Accelerated Christian Education — a unique program for this time in history—is building Godly citizens and Christian leaders of tomorrow. A.C.E. is your servant to meet the educational needs of today, with the traditional values of yesterday, and the technology of tomorrow.
To God the Glory!
With A.C.E.'s concept of individualized learning, students don't just pass, they excel!
